I recently had a new experience. Lifelock robo called to let me know of a potential issue. While there was no problem it is comforting to see evidence that the service is actually doing something. In the past my credit card companies have been diligent and proactive in detecting questionable activity but they are tightly focused on individual accounts. Lifelock provides the overall review of the accounts and life beyond credit cards. Like any insurance policy, you are paying for a service you hope never to need. I regard it as money well spent.
