A cc company notified us they lowered our credit limit. We hadn't used it in a few years and didn't care. Weeks later Lifelock sends email alerts. -Weeks later. That is the only alert we have had from them in years and it's weeks later. Just what good is that? I thought Lifelock was supposed to be on top of things? This change was not life changing for us but if this is how they "protect" unusual activity in our credit, I am really NOT impressed. Over priced and no way to respond to their emails. If they are so far behind the curve on a simple change, it makes me wonder what good they would be if something really happened that we needed the security. Obviously, I am really irritated and not sure they can be trusted.

With this being a change to your valid cc, it first has to be update with the credit bureaus before any company other than the bank that holds the account will be advised of the changes. I called yesterday to ask about two alerts that were sent to me through email. It was very difficult to get through. Touching "9" did not seem to work. The first call was disconnected. I called again and was finally sent to an agent. The agent was helpful but I still did not get an answer to my questions, and I did not say for sure that "Yes, it was me," so it should not have been dismissed.

Tardy Notifications

Unlocked one of my credit freezes over 24 hours ago for a credit application. Never received any notification of any activity pertaining to a credit check request until now, even though the original effort to access my credit information was three days ago. This same tardy notification has taken place twice over the past three months, and several times over the past year or more, so it's a pattern of negligent behavior, not a fluke. We have several free notification services that beat Norton by anywhere from 8 to 24+hrs...FREE services, and I'm paying almost twice as much as the perhaps better rated and better reviewed competitors of Norton. I think our relationship is going to end at the end of the subscription for sure because I have ample evidence that I do not receive the level service that I pay for and deserve. You absolutely are not getting any value from Norton, their service has grossly deteriorated.
