My Federal Income Tax refund is held up for many, many months, and I called LifeLock twice, but both women would NOT place a red flag on my soc sec number at your company, though your company did place a red flag on my husband's soc sec number. We file jointly, and my soc sec number HAS BEEN COMPROMISED as well as my husbands. LifeLock has NOT HELPED me NOR my family! OUR son had his soc sec number taken and a credit card opened up in his name, and the criminal spent almost $2,000. before we found out about it, but LIFELOCK had NO red flag and never even knew that his Identity was stolen. AND, LifeLock has never stopped my own soc sec number, nor my husbands from being stolen, and our IDENTITY stolen. As far as I can see, LifeLock does NOTHING for us, nor ever has, and your ads that says you stop crime BEFORE it happens is BALONEY, at least for my family it has been baloney! In April 2015 someone charged $700 to my credit card saying I made the charges through Facebook. This is a well known scam and it has been happening to hundreds of people since as early as 2009. It is the epitome of white collar crime. I have had smaller fraudulent charges for over the past 8 months from someone in China, another in Switzerland, and one in California. I have had to cancel about 6 credit cards from Chase. I finally changed banks altogether and went with a credit union. But they found me again, this time making the Facebook charges. (not really facebook, of course) I have gone to my local police department and made a case. I am working with the Utah Attorney General's White collar crime division now. When I first purchased Life Lock it worked great. Now since they updated the App (Samsung Galaxy Note 3) with the wallet the app will not open, it just keeps trying to sync the wallet and I have let it try for over a hour. When I call them there fix is just us the internet on your phone to log into Lifelock. They never have tried to help me correct the app in any way. We have no clue how my password keeps getting changed. The emails only show HTML code, I use Windows 7 and Windows explorer. So whenever there is an alert I have to call them but the people are nice. We canceled my wife's account today. Everything we have is joint so if there is a problem with anything it always came up for both of us and when she saw what I had to do to set up my account she decided she just did not need it that bad. With all there problems I think what they offer is valuable because they did catch someone trying to start a loan against our home. I think they are just growing so fast that a few details have slipped between the cracks, I hope that they will get to fixing some of the problems because the problems are minor, displaying emails and a broken app is nothing compared to what is working in the background (watching our backs). Although they say that they update my back balances daily, when I checked they were so far off that they did not even have major cash transfers that had been made. Perhaps they are good for identity theft but for all the rest, does not seem to be worth it at all.If they cannot even monitor my bank accounts then how would they know if money is taken out or not? My bank account was being protected with Lifelock. Now, my bank has disappeared from the list of banks. I cannot add my bank accounts now. I have tried to work with costumer service, but it doesn't seem to matter to Lifelock as I have yet to hear back from them. If I can't protect my bank accounts, what good is it having Lifelock.
