I have been a police officer for over 30 years. Taking reports on identity theft when I started my law enforcement career was nearly nonexistent. Now I take them on a rather regular basis. As I am nearing the end of my career in the field... I am often times inclined to give people a little bit of sage advice after I am done taking their report.
