Not long after reporting the lose of my driver's license, social security card and other credentials to LifeLock, someone unknown to me used my personal information attempting to obtain a payday loan. Because of the alerts LifeLock had in place the loan was denied. With identity theft on the rise, I am so glad I am a LifeLock member and so thankful their representatives were there to help me through this situation which was resolved within a day after I became aware of the problem. I recently became a victim of Identity Theft. If I had not become a member of LifeLock, who knows when I would have figured it out and my credit would have been ruined. I received alerts of accounts trying to be opened with my personal information from LifeLock via text message and email and was able to immediately begin the process of closing these threats. I've been dealing with identity fraud since 2007 ... And although I was dealing direct with the credit bureaus .... It was tedious and still wasn't enough..... Then I got Life Lock ...and it has definitely been a turn for the better. The fraudulent activity almost stopped completely and whenever there is something being applied for or being looked into I am notified immediately .... Everything gets nipped in the bud .
