I've had LifeLock for about 10 years. I love it! I was at the furniture store to purchase a bedroom suite. The sales lady had to rerun my card because it had been a while when I last used it. Before she finished typing in my information, LifeLock had sent me a text to alert me. I had to call to call to verify that it was me. When I got home, I had a msg on VM, and had an alert on the site. LifeLock has always been there. I wished I had had it when someone used my credit card to purchase accessory from Sprint. I tell everyone about LifeLock. I alwas check the site for any alerts on sexual predators, credit scores,to see if what's changed and just to read up on whats going on out there in cyberspace. So far, so good!

I was skeptical about how all of this would work. One Saturday I purchased a new appliance at a store with a 2 year same as cash promotion. Lifelock emailed the next day to verify that I was the one who actually opened that account. I was very impressed with the timeliness. I also appreciate the fact that they notify me of any new sex offenders that register in my ZIP code. I have two young sons and it is extremely important to have that information updated quickly so I will be aware of who is moving in to my area.
I live in South Carolina and our state department of revenue had their mainframe computer hacked. Anyone who has filed a tax return with them had their information stolen. The state provided us with a free year of credit protection, but I stuck with LifeLock because the service they offered was not nearly as comprehensive and I didn't trust it.

I travel 80% of the time for business. Every few months, I was to cancel my credit cards, someone will somehow steal my personal information for a store purchase and the sad part is that I an not a rich person. I am just an ordinary middle class citizen. I used hear Lifelock on Rush radio many times a day on his show and think this is not for me, it is fro the rich people.
Finally onetime, I had enough of this and called Lifelock and signed up as a basic member. It has been so good to us just feeling protected that I can write pages of praises. My wife would tell me horror stories about her friends loosing thousands of dollars by opening false account, by getting loans using their ID. I tell her, they should have Lifelock. Now I feel safe, I do not worry because Lifelock does it for me. I am very thankful and grateful for it.
