I am and have been for some time very careful about keeping my identity safe. We even crosscut shred anything with our names on it before putting in the trash. In addition to severely limiting the dispersal of our credit card and other personal we use Life Lock. For online protection I have come to rely on Life Lock to help us with keeping our online identities as secure as our trash.

Someone used my SSN to file taxes early in 2014. When I filed my return it was refused which of course led to major concern on my part! Lifelock (especially Kimberly) was fantastic in resolving this issue, following up with the IRS to get my return accepted and ensuring that my return this year will be received.
