Recently I have had two significant fraudulent events. Neither event triggered a response from LifeLock. In fact I received my usual email stating LifeLock is protecting me and has not found any fraudulent activity. When I called and informed LifeLock of the two issues I was told they weren't identity thefts they were fraud. Anyway the reason for the below average review is that you are still working on my issues.

credit card failure

Last month my credit card co. notified me that I had some activity that was not cool. Some one tried to charge to my credit card a lot of things, over $1000.00. I was never notified by you of any problems of fraud. I don't think you are doing your job.

dont catch them

I had someone file a 2nd tax return under my ss# to the IRS. They actually got paid. Two days later some one in Louisiana used my discover card twice. I called life lock and they didn't know anything. Said no breaches of my SS#. Not impressed with life lock.

Twice during the month of August, I was contacted by banks / credit providers who wrote to me saying "there is a problem with your application for a credit account, you must contact us immediately". So I did... And it both cases, someone was using "parts" of my identity to open a charge account. One of the applications had gotten to the point where the card was already mailed to the crook and had to be shut down immediately. In the other case, the only thing that triggered the inquiry was a inconsistency in personal information. In both of these cases, there had to be "flags" on someone's radar....wouldn't you think? I have a freeze on my credit, but I would think the two applications should have alerted someone at LifeLock as well. These two latest examples are not the first time it's happened either. You've either got to jump in the game with both feet or get out. There are no "levels of protection". There's only "you are protected....or you are not". If I'm not....then I don't need your services. I don't really know which protection package I have at this time. It is a free benefit through AOL. But I can definitely say, if I was paying for the service....I'd be cancelling it. Not good.....

Not real happy right now.

We purchased a car last week so we had our credit pulled twice but LifeLock never notified us. That concerns us.

I have had the service for 1 month. last week one of my Credit cards had an unauthorized charge. The card company found it because whoever charged it used an incorrect address. the amount of the charge did not match any of my purchases. So good news they caught it...bad news someone stole my info. the card has been canceled.
