We are led to believe that LifeLock monitors your accounts as well as credit bureaus but that is not the case at all. A $100,00 charge on my account was never reported by Lifelock. One would think if they were watching one's account this would jump out.
Really, it appears the only thing monitored is the credit bureau reports. You can get your reports for free and save the cost of Lifelock!

I have had LifeLock for years.. On 11/14/11 three days after purchase of my property there was a lien placed on the property. This was not discovered until refinancing January of 2015.. Had this been reported properly we could have handled this better. The lien has been placed by a radical group and this is detrimental in so many ways

I opened a loan account and a credit card.....never heard anything from Lifelock. When I called to ask why I wasn't alerted to these accounts being opened they said they work with certain companies as far as monitoring is concerned. One of the companies was Chase, which I think they would monitor. Then my credit card was compromised and I still never heard anything from Lifelock. My bank notified me of the suspicious activity. The only alerts I have received are those that are on the news and they have never pertained to me. Save your money. Lifelock is a scam in itself!!!! There will probably be a class action suit against them someday. I couldn't submit the review without selecting a star rating. Lifelock doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Recently my personal information was stolen( identity theft) and Lifeblock did not notify me. I even call Lifeblock to let them know. Where was Lifeblock? I gave Lifeblock all my personal info when sign up for their services promising to do their job to protect me two year ago.Turn out Lifeblock is a fraud in itself. Today I got email from Lifeblock of Good News Nothing to report! There was no fraudulent activity with my personal information within their extensive network?

I waited this month for the usual Lifelock email saying they had successfully protected me and that there was no fraudulent activity on my accounts in the last month! That email came today! How impressed I am... During this last month hundreds of dollars in fraudulent purchases were charged on one of my credit cards, one that was listed with Lifelock. The credit card company fraud team caught it after the third charge and contacted me. They closed the card down and issued a new one.
Not one blip on the Lifelock screen even after the account was closed...
If this company is really monitoring, they would have at least seen the account being closed...

While on a Celebrity cruise this Oct-Nov and had the opportunity to open up an new Celebrity charge Card( through Bank of America)
When I got home and checked my alert page , I was not informed that a charge had been opened up using my social security #....
What good is life-lock if not to alert me...
when I call I was told that we cannot moniter everything....sorry but an identity theft with IRS is acceptable ( not knowing) but with as Bank of America charge card is totally unacceptable

I have no idea what LifeLock does for me. I got a glowing report this month and last month about how LifeLock had protected my identify. Meanwhile, I had several thousand dollars worth of fraudulent charges on one credit card last month and was just notified by another company yesterday that I had seven fraudulent charges on another card. LifeLock has done nothing to protect me or my identity.
