I have had Lifelock for a couple years now. I just wanted to let you know that I have been a victim of identity theft on my federal income taxes this year. I keep getting e-mails from Lifelock saying my identity has been protected but this is not the case. Isn't Lifelock's services supposed to protect me in this case?

Life lock is suppose to be a monitoring service to help assist me with my credit protection. However in the last month I've contacted them in regards to fraudulent account that were open where the personnel used my SSN and personal information yet just on 23 Aug I received a notification from Lifelock stating ".During the past month, LifeLock found no fraudulent activity associated with your personal information within our extensive network. I'm here to say that is not the case because their has been accounts open. I am still working with Lifelock to try and get the protection I need, as of now I would not recommend Lifelock to anyone.,

Got lifelock service through AOL. Have made many large purchases, with credit checks and have never gotten an alert from Life lock. I think this must be some kind of limited version. Useless

So disappointed...

Seriously?! I had LifeLock for probably two years, I went to the Dominican Republic and my Social Security number was compromised. I received numerous applications for credit applications in my name. I alerted Lifelock to the issue and they said "they would closely monitor my file." To this day, I have never received a warning or alert from LifeLock. It got so bad, I had to go on line and freeze my Social Security number. I really do not feel "protected." To add insult to injury, I just received an email: "Good news, your identity has been protected."

Speechless

In June, 2015, I cancelled my LifeLock subscription because of several notices that you couldn't access my bank account; called LifeLock because I could access my account. After various Customer Service reps couldn't correct the issue, I asked to cancel; was told okay; that I would be receiving a partial month's refund, which I never did. And, like the Energizer Bunny or a Timex watch, you take a beating and keep on ticking? Check my account records and all this will be revealed to you. OR are you telling me that LifeLock can NOW monitor my checking accounts for some reason?

Good news?

I don't think you want to share this. I don't understand how in May my credit card was compromised and LifeLock never alerted me. I also don't understand why I am getting an email telling me that the good news is that there has been no negative activity to report this month...how come this is the first time I get this "good news"? What happen to previous months? I selected 1 star because I had to make a selection to continue.

Rip Off

This is a rip off--you notified each time there was a transaction on every account when I was new, the first 2-3 months, slowly this all STOPPED -- I even called asking why, you couldn't tell me why. So take your $200+ dollars and go out buy something you always wanted as this is a waist of $$$$.

lifelock standard wasn't worth it.

Fortunately I didn't have to pay for life lock as it was given as a result of security breach at the university. I have learned that the standard level is near worthless as very little is monitored....this was confirmed to me by a banker friend who relates that his and clients' experience has been that unless one lays out the money for the top level, it is only a cosmetic "feel good" item and doesn't really do anything. My experience backs this up, too.

Did Not Alert Me of Fraud

I recently had my debit/credit card information stolen and over a thousand dollars was taken out from my bank account. The transactions were made across the country and purchases were over $500 at certain locations I never shop at. My bank is the one who caught the fraud and contacted me. I then recieved a week later an email from Life Lock stating "Good News!" and there had been no fraudulant activity found on my card this month. This corporation has not been useful to me.
