HORRIBLE service. I was an employee of UPMC that had information stolen at work. Joined life lock. My son had me cosign for a loan for his truck NO notification. SIgned not one but two loans on line for student loans for my children AGAIN no notification. What good is this horrible system? IT protects NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The company encourages customers to provide all critical personal and financial details yet glosses over how or why it's system is so much more secure than that of various financial institutions and the federal government. The company also fails to disclose that it has been fined for overstating its capabilities.
Nothing appears to have happened with my information yet Lifelock sends me an email touting their success in protecting my information?! Nothing was detected and they call this a success?? That doesn't mean something didn't happen, it just means Lifelock didn't detect anything - it could be that nothing occurred but it could also be that there was an incident. Very misleading propaganda.

I've had my account compromised and it was my bank (star) that caught it. I had to close that acct and open a new one.
I'm still waiting for life lock to tell me my 1st summit is closed and I move to FNB.
I don't even read your memo's anymore.

I WILL ***NOT*** RECOMMEND LIFELOCK TO ANYONE. IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE I SUBSCRIBED TO LIFELOCK AND SO FAR I ONLY RECEIVED 3 OR 4 MONITORING NOTIFICATIONS. I CALLED A FEW TIMES BUT NOTHING WAS DONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. SENDING MONTHLY NOTIFICATIONS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE YOUR HIGHEST PRIORITY. I SIGNED UP WITH EXPERION IN 2010 AND I ALWAYS GET MY MONTHLY MONITORING NOTIFICATIONS.

While I had Lifelock, someone opened a credit card in my name and someone else opened a bank account in my name. Lifelock didn't detect either one and didn't help with any paperwork, phone calls or any other things I had to deal to clear these up. They say they'll reimburse people for the time they spend clearing their name if there is identity theft while they have Lifelock. In the small print on the form to submit with the amount of time spent on dealing with identity theft, it says they won't give you anything if you are self employed. That's garbage. They should at LEAST give minimum wage per hour spent. It should also be stated up front before people sign up that credit card fraud and fraudulent bank accounts won't be identified with some plan options. It should be clearly stated what will and won't be identified. Also, I had to select a version of Lifelock to submit this but I don't know which plan I have. I get it free with AOL.

Lifelock sucks. They only protect 4 credit cards & I have 10 that need protecting. Their software has been unable to link to my checking account since day 1. My bank has better protection service than they do.

Lorts of delay and takes a long time to get info. Also which lifelock probably doesn't have Even even thoughyou may not have anything to do with the credit score remaining stagnent even though you don't apply for credit. Then if you do the rate goes down if you don't spend aCCORDING TO THE LIFESTYLE OF SOME BEAN COUNTER WORKING FOR THE THREE MAJOR BUREAUS. THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF EDITORIALS IN NEWSPAPERS AGAINST THE WAY THE BUREAUS CONDUCT BUSINESS. I PERSONALLY THINK THE BUREAUS OWN THE STATE LEGISLATORS AND GOVERNORS!! Also in many social medias people are against the bureaus...Bigtime!!
