I have never had identity protection before, but feel LifeLock has an excellent program, thus far. They contacted us to let us know that someone was checking our credit out. We had never heard of the company and had not applied for any credit, that we knew of, so we looked into it. Turns out it was our dental group using a credit source that we were not familiar with. We did not realize that we were applying for a "credit card" to pay our bill with them but so glad to know that LifeLock let us know about it. This could have easily been someone trying to get a credit card in our name. I trust that they will be looking after my identity and informing me of anything suspicious. Gives me peace of mind.
