Recently someone has stolen my husband's identity and I believe mine as well. At first I was notified of the activity in my husband's name and it stated the person was trying to open an account with sprint. When he called in, he was told he couldn't talk with customer service because the account is in my name (because it is through my work...it was his social that the incident was related to). So, I called in. I worked with a very helpful associate; however, the information he had and the information I had did not match up. The information I had said Sprint, the information he had said AT&T. Because we had tried to get an account with AT&T around that time, I said it was ok to mark it resolved. A couple of days later we got notice in the mail from Sprint that he could not open an account because his identity hadn't been verified (so, sprint was an issue...but it seems you took care of that anyway :) ). Last week we received two iphones in the mail from AT&T who had set them up by a person calling in with my husband's name and social and our former address (which is vacant right now; so, someone is having things shipped there and going to pick them up). When I called to alert lifelock, I was told that I couldn't because the issue was with my husband. When he called in, he was basically told to do all of the work to get it taken care of on his own.So, I'm not exactly sure what Lifelock has done in this case as we have had zero follow up from you (and we have also had zero follow up regarding my account)

It is necessary that I change my password to reinstate my account. I am having difficulty completing this process. I could use some support. I was told this is what I should do Appreciate the monthly report

In March Bank of America notified me that my bank credit card had overseas charges which I not made. They cancelled the card and issued me a new card. Why did Life Lock not catch this?

I guess its OK

I GUESS its OK, but I have received notification from both my job and two banks that my ID was compromised during the past year with nary a word from Lifelock so I do not particularly trust LifeLock's services.

About three weeks ago, CapitalOne/Mastercard emailed me that my account was compromised in Indonesia. This happened after it first occurred about three years ago, I was given a new card then asked to create a secret code, and then later sent a chipped card with yet another new number. I thought LifeLock would catch something like this, but apparently not. Your company must be limited to just new accounts, so here I am, paying you for limited protection and also completely unsafe with supposedly "safe" chipped credit cards.

My husband's identity was used to open up two bank accounts approximately a month ago. LifeLock wasn't aware of it until we contacted a LifeLock representative at which point, we were told they would help us file charges, which wasn't needed. My concern is that this time, we didn't lose anything, but we still felt the need to file for credit protection and that LifeLock didn't do anything to protect us from our experience with identity theft.
