A few years ago, someone filed income tax 1040 from under my social security #. I made a call to lifelock and they handled everything with the IRS. It was so good not to have to go through a bunch of calls, transfers, waiting, or being aggravated by nothing getting done. I would never cancel having them, basically because of not having to go through the hassle.
