I was contacted by Lifelock in regards to someone trying to sign up for a landline through Verizon with my SS# and DOB. I would have had no idea that was happening until it was too late if it wasn't for LifeLock.
Lifelock called Verizon with me on the other end to dispute the fraudulent request.
It all took about 10 minutes.

My SSN was used to open an account with Verizon Wireless. LifeLock worked with me to get resolution. But when I applied for a home loan 6 months later, Verizon had not followed through and my credit report had delinquent account information on it. LifeLock jumped back in and quickly got this information resolved with Verizon and with TransUnion. They have ordered my other 2 credit reports and will assist in clearing them also.

I have seen the ads and commercials on TV but only just recently subscribed/enrolled in your services. I like the alerts that I receive and how it enables me to see what type of activity is going on with my accounts. We really like the added protection that we have when it comes to our personal information and financial activity. It's there for our protection and knowing that someone else is looking out for us as well is just a blessing.
