I used another service for a couple of years mainly because they were supposed to be the best, but using their online services was definitely NOT easy. I was never sure if they were doing their job since there was no communication. I finally found out from a friend that those occasional emails I thought were ads were actually from them. They used a totally different name so how was I supposed to know?
Frustrated with paying for a service I wasn't sure was doing anything but taking my money each month, I finally decided to try Lifelock. I knew right away they were working on my account because I got text messages with every transaction that went through my financial institutions for about a month. That was them learning my spending habits. Now only irregular items trigger a text.
Lifelock's website is a breeze to navigate too! I finally feel like I understand what is happening with my financial protection and I don't need to a tech wizard to interpret!
I hope I never have to learn first hand how Lifelock will handle a breach in my security but I'm confident from what I've seen so far that I'm in good hands.
