Although they say that they update my back balances daily, when I checked they were so far off that they did not even have major cash transfers that had been made. Perhaps they are good for identity theft but for all the rest, does not seem to be worth it at all.If they cannot even monitor my bank accounts then how would they know if money is taken out or not?

You are supposed to protect me from being scamed - and you are the one that is scamming me monthly! I just got a notice from the bank of a fraudulent charge from LifeLock. I didn't sign up for any monthly services!!! NOT TO MY KNOWLEDGE ANYWAY!

My bank account was being protected with Lifelock. Now, my bank has disappeared from the list of banks. I cannot add my bank accounts now. I have tried to work with costumer service, but it doesn't seem to matter to Lifelock as I have yet to hear back from them. If I can't protect my bank accounts, what good is it having Lifelock. I will be canceling Lifelock and saving that money that I am currently wasting every month.

Nothing offered here that you later cant discover provided through your own bank, through credit rating agencies and through local municipal records --- all for free. Certain "protections" are not set up immediately and require time consuming calls to the company, as does canceling one's account which I am desperately keen to do.

A lot of good this does "protecting & monitoring" when I have to re-login to my bank accounts multiple times per day. I have to tell LL to reconnect to my banks all the time. Waste of my time.

Have been a member for years, always paying my premium. Recently we had the unfortunate experience of having our identity stolen. We were never alerted to any potential fraudulent activity. Upon receiving a bank statement where there were over $10,000 in charges to one car rental agency in less than 2 weeks, we started the process of closing all bank accounts, credit cards, etc. etc. What a nightmare. Lifelock never contacted us, even once. It has taken countless hours of grief and frustration to begin the repair of our credit, and I think it will take years. Why weren't alerted? We are still waiting for a response, and it's been over 2 months :(

BAD DEAL

When I joined, there were credit cards that I had that I couldn't add to my protected list because you didn't have the correct URL address that was associated with the account/card. I called and gave LifeLock a list, and I was told the URL addresses would be added. They have not been added, and it's been 8 months since I joined. I recently received emails stating that I needed to update my credentials (although nothing had changed during that time). I finally had the opportunity to go in and try to update my credentials, but LifeLock couldn't access my bank because of some technical issue. In the mean time, my identity has been compromised. I have a credit and debit card with my bank, and both cards have been used without my knowledge for purchases. Luckily, I have alerts for my account, and I was able to alert the bank of the fraudulent activity before any serious issues occurred - NO THANKS TO LIFELOCK! I am cancelling my service.

Doesn't work

My credit card had numerous fraudulent charges made to it last month. Lifelock did not pick up on any of them. In fact....the just sent me an email saying "good news, no fraudulent activity". Very disappointed. Huge waste of money. I will be canceling this week.

I just got a letter that someone filed a tax return in my name. From the IRS. Lifelock unaware. So my social security number is obviously out there. I'm not feeling that protected. Talk about the boy who cried wolf. I get texts and emails almost daily about non-issues. This service has no ability to recognize when transfers are made to another one of the accounts I own vs someone else's so it sets of all kinds of warnings if I move money to a savings account. God forbid I have an unusually large cable bill, or pay my credit card. All these transactions are from my bank to another account in MY name (most of which liifelock "monitors" ) and yet it assumes they're fraudulent. It should see American express payment on bank site and match it to American express website, bit it doesn't. For all the money I pay, I still have to do that. It's getting to where I don't even care about the alerts because so far none are real. So it's really great with telling you the stuff you already know. Not sure it's great at detecting when someone stole your info.
