LifeLock does provide peace of mind for me when it comes to online scams & other threats. Years ago, I toured an apartment complex in anticipation of moving & deciding it was the right new home for me, completed an application - LifeLock sent me a text & an e-mail notifying me that a lease application had been completed in my name & asking "was that you?" before I was even out of the complex parking lot! I had an identity theft around 18 months ago. LifeLock picked up the fact that someone was trying to open a checking account in my name 1500 miles away. The CSR I spoke with was very helpful, acted immediately, got the bank on the phone and in a few days the issue was resolved. Had it not been for LL, who knows how far my credit and name would have been damaged. She also told me to immediately freeze my credit, explained to me how to do it and to leave it frozen unless I was going to make a big purchase. It is definitely worth every cent for the protection they provide.
