I purchased Life Lock to make sure that someone to had my person information wouldn't use it to steal my identity. I had been enjoying the secure feeling of being notified when there was activity on my account, getting updates on my credit score as well being notified of any sexual offenders in my area. Many of the alerts were due to my action and it was nice being able to see the process in action. Recently though, I did have someone try to steal my identity. Fortunately I received an alert from LifeLock. I immediately responded, stating that action wasn't me. The next few days, I had several communications from LifeLock, explaining the process and getting information from me. Finally we reached the vendor who had experience with LifeLock and immediately shut down the false account and sent the information to their crime investigators. I have no doubt it was the person I knew trying to use my identity. I purchased LifeLock for this very reason and I'm happy to that we were able to stop them. Now I truly do have the feeling of security, knowing that Life Lock is watching my identity and stopping anyone from trying to steal it. Money well spent.
