To me, Lifelock is like insurance. They monitor for Identity Theft Worldwide, which the average person cannot do...mainly because they don't have the tools or time. LifeLock assures the individual that everything possible will be done to protect their identity, and they give you alerts and periodic e-mails. If one doesn't have LifeLock, they're gambling with their identity.

Fortunately, nothing bad has happened to me, but I know Lifelock is on the ball. When I bought a new car, I was notified within hours that someone was checking my credit. There have been other alerts, too. For around $35 per month, I have peace of mind that someone is watching out for me in areas where I have no expertise to do it myself.
