I was notified by LifeLock that fraud had been attempted on my account using my SS#. They tracked it down and put me in touch with the fraud department of the bank, who was also very professional and helpful. We had a few conference calls and put alerts on my information with the credit reporting agencies. I would never have found out about this problem without LifeLock. My bet is that E-Verify isn't being used very often. Thanks to everyone

The only thing that disappointed me was that your agents "thought" the inquire made in my name by Wells Fargo was for a MORTGAGE!! That is what caused great alarm and upset here at home! You should have more EXACT categories for your reps to work with and share with the member who is concerned about being a victim of fraud!! If your rep had said this was a credit check for "line of credit" instead of a NEW MORTGAGE I would've had my memory "jogged" and would've been able to tell your reps that it was "OK" before I had to call Wells Fargo myself, to clarify just why they had made a request to be given my credit status. Please consider broadening your "categories" so your reps can do a better job of divulging accurate information and help us to keep from spinning out in panic!!! Otherwise, the reps were wonderful!!

I now know Lifelock is totally worth it's value for security and my prace of mind. I previously had information compromised and was given a one year enrollment for identity protection. When I received my monthly statement from them they said I had no changes, no new open accounts etc. I found this to be interesting being I had alerts going off from LIFELOCK telling me I had credit reports and new accounts being opened under my name. I was refinancing my mortgage so all was good but not saying much for them. Thanks LIFELOCK
