As one of the many members of Anthem Blue Cross that had information breached I have had 4 attempts of identity theft in the past week and LifeLock caught 3 of them, sent me alerts and is now in the process of helping me contact those merchants to shut down the application process and keep those fraudulent accounts from being opened in my name and affecting my credit. I had the regular membership, but after the breach i upgraded to the Ultra Plus membership for added protection! LifeLock has been very helpful and has given me a portion of peace of mind back.

Identity theft is an ongoing plague. I wanted to ensure the best possible protection of my assets by doing what I could to thwart the identity thieves. When I heard about LifeLock on Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin radio programs, I decided to take advantage. Since then, I rest easy knowing that LifeLock is on the job 24/7 monitoring my accounts. This is a form of insurance that is well worth it. I would add, though, that each of us needs to our part to protect what we have by not being careless about our records, credit cards, etc.

Initially I was hesitant to join LifeLock due to the cost, but a friend who's been a long-time member convinced me that it was worth the peace of mind. Boy, was she right! Not long after I purchased my home, I received e-mail alerts from LifeLock asking if I had open various accounts. I hadn't. After speaking to a representative, I discovered that my identity had been compromised. LifeLock went to work straight-away to correct the damage. Fortunately, since I was a member prior to the incident, I was alerted immediately. Had I not been a member, it would have literally been months before I realized there was a problem. LifeLock dealt with all the credit bureaus and the businesses where fraudulent accounts had been open. They took care of everything and at no cost to me. LifeLock is a "must-have" in my life now, it's not an option and in hindsight….very well worth the cost!

Life Lock called me with in half hour of my credit being checked. As I had not applied for any large purchase I was of course concerned. They quickly lead me through a series of questions and then with a little more checking were able to tell me exactly where the credit check had come from. I was relieved to know the name of the company, since I had spoken with them a few days earlier and did not realize they would need to check my credit history. After speaking with the company I told them of Life Locks alert and asked if they ever had to check it again to notify me they were doing so. They also asked how I liked Life Lock other clients of theirs had inquired about it. I could then tell them, with my first time experience regarding Life Lock, I recommended they encourage other clients to check them out.
