I had a recent fraudulent charge that posted to my bank debit card. I had inadvertently forgotten to complete a very important part of my profile, under the 'Protected Accounts' section, my bank account!
I had received notice from my bank, thankfully that there was suspicious activity and I was able to get it reversed, while they investigate.
In the meantime, I had contacted LifeLock and they responded very promptly. They alerted me to a credit check that happened, when I applied for my bank's credit card, (instead of my using the debit card for purchases), as I had that section of my LifeLock account thoroughly completed.
My advice is to be certain that you have completed ALL of your information in ALL of the different sections, so that they can do their magic. I had listed my bank account under the 'bank account' section, but not under the 'Protected Accounts' section, which gives them access to monitor your transactions.
So far, I'm very satisfied with the quick response and the alerts that I have received, now that my account has been completely set up!

I have only been a member of Lifelock for a few weeks but it has paid off already. I feel like I am getting bombarded with fraudulent credit card usuage and, more distressing, having fraudulent accounts opened in my name. The specialist have been better than I could have imagined. They are nice people, seem generally concerned with my situation, they communicate very clearly and they are very knowledgable. Given I do not trust anyone with my info right now, the fact that I trust the Lifelock specialists says a lot.
I read some negative reviews on consumer reports about LL deceptive marketing but to me there is huge value in the knowledgable and HELPFUL specialists. I spent a lot of time with"Sue" today and she exceeded my expectations. Having her or her colleagues on the phone with me while I talk to banks and credit agencies, etc has been well worth signing up..... I would not know what to ask or whom to trust.
While this is not well written, it hopefully conveys my appreciation for the value of Lifelock.
