In Late January I traded cars and financed a newer model. I was surprised that when the dealer applied for the credit, they went through multiple credit agencies. I received several alerts all at about the same time, asking if this was my activity or someone trying to use my identity. To my pleasant surprise, Lifelock caught someone trying to utilize the dealerships backwall in contacting a couple of those agencies mentioned.
