I have been pleased with the alert reports that I have been receiving, but to be honest, as you asked, I was very surprised that I had to insert the passwords to my accounts to make this all work. I certainly hope Lifelock never gets hacked!!

Our tax information and social security numbers were on an employees computer that was stolen. They should not have been on his personal computer and when we found out it was scary and we contacted Life Lock immediately. Thank heavens we've had no problems for the last six months. Life Lock is a good idea for anyone who wants to protect him/herself.

I think that LifeLock provides two basic services. Number one, LifeLock is capable of detecting and identifying criminal hackers. Number two, Because of the reputation that LifeLock has established, I believe that there is a fear in potential thieves of being discovered and prosecuted which prevents attempts to violate LifeLock member privacy.

I joined via the web and did the setup that way as well. I had trouble connecting to my bank and my help request wasn't acknowledged immediately. I call the help number and was impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and helpfulness of the agent. Meanwhile my electronic help request was acknowledged as well.
