Had two "incidents" of stolen identity / fraudulent accounts. I had to discover them both. I had to get info from PayPal. I had to call back LifeLock TWICE as 1. They have a skeleton staff, I was told, on weekends and 2. They would NOT call me back and 3. I had to get my own info from PayPal - They would not call them.
I was sent a bill from PayPal Credit (for which I did NOT apply). LifeLock caught nothing. Second incident - My Visa credit card was used somewhere in South America.... Merrill Lynch caught that one. LifeLock DID NOT.

There is little way to qualify the success of this companiy's services unless a catastrophe happens, so to say the least, I don't know if the service is really worth it. But last week American Express contacted me through their fraud department because there were three charges, indeed fraudulent, on my account. They did chargebacks, changed my account number and sent me a new card.
This morning (5 days later), I get an email from Lifelock saying "During the past month, LifeLock found no fraudulent activity associated with your personal information within our extensive network†." The AX card is listed on my Lifelock account.
I am not saying this service doesn't work, but this example really makes me question how in touch they are with actual real time events.
Life-lock did not notify, nor was aware of this incidents.

My Identity was compromised and two credit cards were open in my name. Life-lock did not notify nor was not aware of this incidents.
Interestingly you send me the following email indicating nothing is wrong.
"Dear Sumithra Wijegunawardena,
During the past month, LifeLock found no fraudulent activity associated with your personal information within our extensive network†. LifeLock monitors over a trillion data points and is relentlessly protecting your identity so you can live life freely."

What does lifelock do? I have applied for, and received several credit cards and did not hear anything from lifelock. The only unauthorized charge I have ever had was when lifelock renewed subscription.

I was out of town during the month of October 2015 and received a call from American Express informing me that my card was being compromised. The problem was handled in a professional manner and taken care of. I have not heard from Life Lock in reference to this problem. I feel like I'm wasting my money and I'm considering closing my account.
