I believe I have had Lifelock for a couple years or so. In that time I opened CC accounts and I never got any alert until I communicated the situation then I all the sudden got one. That was maybe 6 months ago and since then I have opened new CC accounts without any alerts. .

I recently opened an American Express and never was I contacted by Life Lock. I expected some type of contact to make sure it was actually me that did the on line credit card application. Perhaps, I am wrong and misunderstand your services. I had a monitoring services several years ago and was contacted when I opened a credit card and also when an inquiry was made when I was contemplating purchasing a car.

We have upgraded this year to the middle Life Lock coverage. Twice in six months, my wife as a member had a debit card from one credit union, and then last night from a difference credit union, used in a identity theft purchase at a local department store. In both cases, the bank called immediately but Lifelock never called or notified us of a problem. So much for catching and stopping Identity Theft...we are better off on our own.

No alerts from LifeLock, last week when my credit card number was used from another source. Thank goodness the credit card company alerted me, or it could of been really bad. Both my bank debit cards were hacked. One this past December and another two weeks ago...heard nothing from LifeLock. Exactly what do you cover?
