They do watch out for you. If someone tries to open a new credit card or loan in your name they will let you know the same day or the next day. So 24 hours... I opened a new credit card account and they cought it right away! I was impressed.

I appreciate the alert regarding the application of a new credit card. However, the time of the transaction on the alert email was disconcerting by being off by 3 hours. Is that a time zone thing? LifeLock should be able to adjust to my time zone.

Thought I knew how it would work; found out its range of service limited. They however helped me research a company that had approached me; after contacting Lifelock ; they investigated the company and gave me good advice in the matter that stopped their proceedings.
