Back in 2010, I was a victim of ID theft, took in a roommate who didn't work. While I was at work, she broke into my personal safe and took all my ID, she got on my computer and created 8 unauthorized credit cards. I came home from work and there were these credit cards on my coffee table, in my name, that I had never seen before, she had the gumption to sign 3 of them with my name. I had to make out a report for the sheriff, and contact these 8 companies myself, telling them that I had no knowledge of these cards. They sent e forms to fill out stating that I had no knowledge of their cards, and they wrote back that I was no longer responsible for any charges to said accounts. But it did ruin my credit to this day.

In these uncertain times there is one major problem that can affect you and there's nothing you can really do to either prevent it or deal with it so that once and for all can be resolved. To me Life Lock has become in the same level as life insurance. You can actually feel rested, and therefore have peace of mind.
