I recently opened two different credit cards, and canceled a couple of others. It is simply unbelievable to me that, within moments of making online application to the credit card companies, I received alerts via email from LifeLock to alert me of this, and request that I reply to them by a simple click (two choices of answers) whether I did, in fact, request to open an account. Astonishing that in one or two seconds time of completing the application process, I'd been notified of this activity. After having gone through a computer scam and losing several hundred dollars, initially, and my husband's account being hacked prior to that, I decided that would never happen again. That's when I signed us up for LifeLock. My husband has also been immediately informed of activity when he opened a credit card account. The scam and the hacking that occurred to both of us a year and a year and a half ago, respectively, happened with all our other "secure online protections" in place! Thank Heavens for LifeLock!
