I went to Sears optical for new glasses because they told me they took my insurance. At sears optical I was asked for my insurance info, drivers license, filled out a form which included my soc. sec. # and after my exam and choice of glassed I was told they would not file for my insurance - that I would have to do it myself. Is that legal. Why did they get everything necessary to steal my identity if they were not going to use it?

It seems every week the news media has some new story of hackers stealing corporations data files, or some kind of personal information that can be used to defraud people of their hard earned money,or private information. LifeLock gives me a sense of security, kind of like having my own Robocop watching out for the bad guys. This is one of the few services out there that truly performs night and day to keep me cybercrime free. Until something better comes along, I'm going to go with LifeLock.

I didn't know that I would ever need those services. I signed just in case several years ago. Amazingly someone stole my identity and applied for a service. LifeLock called me the same day . It didn't take long for the whole process filing the claim and other forms. It was scary to think that somebody has all my information and can do lots of harm to me.
