Some time ago I made a series of quick purchases at a variety of different locations within a short period of time using a credit card. To my surprise LIFELOCK called and wanted to verify that it was ME making the purchases and not somebody else. Now that's what I call "Watching my back!" Here I am going about my daily business, never realizing for a second that my bodyguard was keeping tabs on things out of sight and over the horizon. I haven't been hacked or had my identity stolen, and hope it never happens.... those I know who have had it happen to them are miserable, and were without LIFELOCK. After retiring and since moving to my current location I have been the victim of credit card theft four times. Now that I have LifeLock I have peace of mind that I will not be a victim again. I also have no reservations in telling the occasional store clerk, who checks my credit card for my signature that I have this service, so there is no need in trying to get the three digits off of the back (as one clerk tried to do).
