Notices of suspicious use

Poor- I usually receive notices of suspicious credit card activity days and sometimes over a week past the date of transaction. I have had LifeLock for about 3 years now and in the past - 5 years ago for 2 years. I have always recommended this service in the past but I now feel that really nothing is done to prevent credit problems from arising.

Doesn't feel like I'm getting anything out of this

Doesn't feel like I'm getting any advantages for having this service. I have had activity on my credit but lifelock did not even notice it.

Worthless

I joined in hopes of getting help with my identity theft issues. All they said was to call the 3 credit agencies and do what they say. I knew that much, NO help what so ever. WORTHLESS!

Lifelock uses ad trackers on it's website... which is an app

For a service I pay for that caters to privacy I would not expect ad-ware and trackers to be used. I use ghostery and needed to turn this off to enter bank information. Once I turned it off I was in shock at the number of ad-ware and website trackers this site is using. I'm ok with seeing google analytics and have this whitelisted but the >10 things ghostery listed was pretty appalling. I essentially stopped using your and go out of my way to tell people how horrible it is. And note: The only reason I was using Lifelock to begin with was because my company had a security breach and is providing a year of Lifelock. I have also notified our internal IT dept. (since they are paying a lot of money for the service) about this practice.

Pay the credit bureau

I had a notice that the credit bureaus changed my information and life lock said they could not help but offered to sell me more protection. If I bought the extra protection they still could not help me and said I needed to pay the credit bureau for the info.

False sense of security

I learned from experience. LifeLock can only protect you if you have a major bank account/credit cards. I live in a small town and have an independent bank, and their debit card. I had to tell LifeLock that my card had been compromised some weeks after it had happened. LifeLock had no clue. So if you don't have a major bank and major credit card, LifeLock will just take your money and give you a false sense of security. I would really love to have the coverage they advertise, but this is the fact of the matter. Call me when you can service small banks. And... watch them on billing.

I have recently applied for a loan and had a credit check by three different providers but got no alert whatsoever.

Nothing to report?

In the commercials the person says how they opened or were opening an account or making a loan application and Lifelock called them before they even left the bank to ask if it was them. Baloney! Since joining Lifeunlock, I obtained a mortgage, was approved for a car loan, opened 2 credit cards and applied for a third, obtained an education loan. Lifelock NEVER CONTACTED ME! Darn good thing it really was me and not Peggy guy in Russia on the credit card commercial opening an account in my name. And today I get an email saying how Lifelock has protected me and there's nothing to report. SERIOUSLY?!!!

EXCELLENT!

I've been a member for a few years through my workplace. In the past year I've opened new bank accounts in Erie, Colorado and you didn't notice. I closed those and opened new bank accounts in Thornton, Colorado and you didn't notice. I've since moved to South Dakota and again opened new bank accounts without you noticing. Now that I've left that employer and you're at risk of losing my account you've called and emailed numerous times. No thanks, Shawn
