I recently received an alert from LifeLock concerning the submission of a credit card/loan application. My SS# and D.O.B. were used to apply for loan. LifeLock sent out an alert immediately. An investigation was set into motion and they assisted and mediated a call with the bank issuing loan. If not for LifeLock I would not have known about this.
If you don't think this can happen to you, think again. We are all susceptible to identity theft!
