I'd like to cancel my membership but it has been a daunting & confusing experience to do so.

Good, but things slip through the cracks....

LifeLock is OK for catching items like opening of credit cards and credit accounts in your name, but not bank accounts or ATM cards. In late 2020/2021 I had over 20 bank accounts opened fraudulently, with checks and ATM cards ordered in my name (and address: thankfully everything came to my home). LifeLock alerted me ONCE about ONE account that had been opened and they missed all the others. This went on for several months and LifeLock alerted me only ONCE.....I'm not sure what their exact purpose is but if they are going to miss bank accounts and only catch credit cards, then I would rather go with another service that catches everything. LifeLock also keeps sending me e-mails to upgrade my account...WHY!! You are not doing the job you are already being paid to do, so why should I spend more money on mediocre service?

When lifeLock was just LifeLock we received notifications anytime we applied for a loan or credit card or if someone ran a credit check on us. I can't remember getting any notifications for anything since it has merged with Norton. Not really improvement. I also don't like that a certain amount of pressure is presented to buy Norton Security Software.

Way too difficult to maneuver

I gave it 3 stars because it may be half my fault, but I cannot maneuver through the apps. I have a Life lock app I have a Norton 360 app. My wife and I were buying a car and the finance manager said LifeLock blocked him from getting info and I had no idea how to unblock it, especially under pressure while sitting in his office. I am ready to give up and get rid of all of it except I don't know how other than to uninstall the apps, but that won't stop the payments or the blocking of our finances. It needs to be more (older person) user friendly. It sounded so easy in the commercial. As I said, I initially wanted to give it a one, but I knew part of it is my fault, so I split the difference and gave it a three. Oh, and contacting someone is worse than pulling teeth, and just as painful.

Limited usefulness

Bought protection and then learn I may need Norton to get REALLY protected. When I get notice of financial activity it gives amount but not who is payee. Sales were excellent and helpful and now there is no personalized service. Got my purse stolen so felt this was useful. No bad news yet, but not sure when/if.

Not happy!!

I have 8 active accounts you're 'supposedly' monitoring. One of them hasn't been updated on your end since March 31, 2016 ---- I'm writing this review on May 20, 2016. I know there's been all kinds of activity made to the account but none of it is showing up in my Lifelock account recap. Why is that? Yet you send an email saying no fraudulent activity has occurred ----- how would you know??

It was a bit tedious to set up Lifelock, but this is understandable. On a few occasions my Credit Cards have had suspicious actions. One of our card was compromised while traveling. The card company called and suspended the card, then cancelled the card, voided the fraudulent purchases and then issued a new card. I never heard anything from Lifelock. One of my primary cards was used to purchase items from Europe and the card company called to verify the multiple charges. They were valid and there were no issues. Again, nothing from Lifelock. I am hoping that should something substantial take place that I will see the value of Lifelock.

Ultimately, it accomplishes what I had hoped. I don't have those calls from credit card companies asking about purchases (i.e.) in Taiwan, however, I did have one in the last two years, and Lifelock ultimately did not log it - monthly summary said 0. Never had the need for their follow up services, that I am currently aware of, but anticipate good response if I ever do. Its financial insurance, in which the insurer has a vested interest in preventative measures. Not the worst idea in the world.

Bought a new Subaru in Little Rock, AR last month and didn't get any alerts from Lifelock. I seem to remember a few years ago you would be checked out by Lifelock if you applied for a credit card, bought a car, etc. Why doesn't this happen now?
